The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has on Sunday congratulated NDPP candidate Wangpang Konyak for winning the bye election to 43 Tapi Assembly Constituency. The party also wished him “a successful term in the service of his constituents.”

In its press release, NPCC also thanked the voters of the constituency for “enthusiastically exercising their electoral mandate during the just concluded bye election.”

The Congress party congratulated its candidate Wanglem Konyak for having run a “spirited and graceful campaign” and stated, “He may have come up short in the vote count, but he has won the hearts of many.”

Further, NPCC thanked the leaders and members of the party for “unwavering and unstinting effort at upholding the candidature of the Congress party.”
