Master Bendangakum – The Kung-fu and Karate Maestro
Amidst the vibrant town of Mokokchung, a renowned figure stands tall in the world of Kung-fu and Karate sports. Meet Master Bendangakum, a man with an insatiable passion for combat sports, and an esteemed Technical Instructor in the ongoing Free Boxing Coaching Camp organized by the Boxing Association Mokokchung (BAM).
From a tender age, Master Bendangakum fell in love with the art of Kung-fu and Karate, dedicating himself to mastering the disciplines. His prowess led him to represent the district in numerous tournaments, culminating in a momentous achievement – participation in an international tournament held in Bangkok, Thailand.
His dedication to combat sports doesn’t end with his own achievements. For nearly twenty-five years, Master Bendangakum has been imparting his knowledge and skills to countless students in Mokokchung town. Many of his pupils have represented the district and claimed medals in state and national level tournaments, a testament to his exceptional mentorship.
As a Technical Instructor in the Free Boxing Coaching Camp, Master Bendangakum brings his expertise to bear on honing the skills of the young participants. His focus lies in developing their speed, building stamina, and harnessing their punching power, shaping them into potential boxing champions.

With over a decade of experience in the sport, Coach Nokinyanger’s journey has taken him to numerous heights. Representing Mokokchung district, he showcased his skills in State Level tournaments and even made his mark on the national stage. In a prestigious National level tournament in Kolkata, he proudly secured the Silver Medal, adding to his list of accomplishments.
For Coach Nokinyanger, boxing goes beyond the boundaries of a sport; it’s a way of life that instills valuable life lessons. He firmly believes that boxing fosters not only self-defense skills but also a healthy attitude towards life. Through rigorous training and discipline, a boxer learns to maintain good hygiene, forging a character that transcends the confines of the boxing ring.
