Former Deputy Speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly, Ralanthung Yanthan, has joined the Indian National Congress on 17th May 2024, the Communications Department, Nagaland Pradesh Congress Party informed today in a press release.

NPCC also said that Yanthan and his supporters have joined the party “to strengthen the inclusive and democratic principles of the Indian National Congress under the Leadership of Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi and S Supongmeren Jamir.”

NPCC conveyed that it “wholeheartedly welcomes him and his supporters into the party fold” and wished them the very best in their future endeavours.
