SBI donates executive office chairs to Municipal Affairs Department

The State Bank of India donated executive office chairs to the Municipal Affairs Department, Kohima on August 20 under the Corporate Social Responsibility 2026-2027.

Director, Municipal Affairs, Temjenrenla Kechu acknowledging the good gesture towards the department expressed her gratitude to the SBI. They also discussed about the services provided by the SBI, such as housing loans, other schemes and further agreed to collaborate and work together for the benefit of the general public.

Kechu also highlighted on the importance of solar street lighting and waste disposal trucks around the towns and requested the SBI to provide it under CSR if it was possible in the future.

The handing taking was undertaken by DGM (B&O) SBI Jorhat, Narendra Pratap Singh, officials from SBI and Director, Temjenrenla Kechu and other officials from Municipal Affairs.
