In a dominant performance at Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Chumoukedima triumphed over Mokokchung by 9 wickets in the Senior Men’s Inter-District Tournament 2025. Mokokchung, after winning the toss and opting to bat, were bowled out for just 74 runs in 30.4 overs.

Amongti Lkr top-scored for Mokokchung with 16 runs off 32 balls, but it was not enough to withstand the brilliant bowling from Chumoukedima’s attack. Imliwati led the charge with 3 wickets for 13 runs in 6.4 overs, while Jonathan Rongsen also played a key role, claiming 3 wickets for 17 runs in 7 overs.

Chümoukedima chased down the target in just 13.3 overs, finishing with 77/1. Mughavi Sumi was the top scorer for Chumoukedima, smashing 43 runs off 40 balls, while Jonathan Rongsen remained unbeaten on 33 off 41 balls*, leading his side to a comfortable win.

For his outstanding all-round performance, Jonathan Rongsen was awarded the Player of the Match for his vital contributions with both bat and ball.
