Alarmed over the death reports of pigs due to unknown diseases in villages adjacent to Pfutsero town and other surrounding sub-division, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Pfutsero, Mhalo Humtsoe  has temporarily banned the slaughter and sale of pigs from outside (both live and slaughter) with immediate effect till further notice.

He further stated that violation of this order, the Town Council will take its own course of action.
