The first semi final match of the 31st edition of the Loyem Memorial Trophy was held on October 25 played between Songkuklang Football Club and Tiaren Football Clun. The ninth day of the match was held at the Loyem Memorial Astro Turf Ground, Tuensang.
Braving the cold and rainy day, both teams put up a brave front with Songkuklang FC kicking off the first ball of the day.

Mengoi of Songkuklang FC scored the first goal in the second minute. Before the first half break Ayen from Songkuklang FC scored three goals consecutively. Tiaren FC missed several chances to extend its leading. The match ended with Songkuklang FC scoring an impressive six goals against Tiaren FC which could manage only two goals.
