Thanksgiving program for Ward 5 Councillor Vimhalie Pienyü held

The Thanksgiving program in honour of Ward 5 Councillor Vimhalie Pienyü,  Kitsubouzou Kohima was held at Naga Heritage Village,Kisama.

Expressing gratitude in his speech, Vimhalie Pienyü highlighted the significance and history of Kitsubozou aarea. According to Pienyü, the Naga Club office originated in Kitsubozou, hosting numerous leaders and pioneers for meetings, leaving behind a rich history. “The Kitsubozou panchayat, established 50 years ago, has nurtured many esteemed leaders,” said the Councillor who pledged to prioritize the community’s well-being, emphasizing collaboration with his opponents to serve the people with a strong vision.

He also thanked his colony members, relatives and all his supporters for always being with him and standing by him throughout his journey.

Pienyü encouraged  the other councillors to work together and work for the development of the people and Kohima program. While all the Councillors come from different political parties and background, he exuded confidence that they will work out their differences and walk forward.

He ended with a quote “Service to mankind is service to God “ and hope all the councillors will work together for the public.

Dzieseneilie Sachü, the Chairman of Kitsubouzou, urged the councillor to serve the people with dedication. Vituozo Kire, the Head of GB Kitsubozou, expressed optimism that Pienyü would enhance the colony with his diligence and dedication. He believed that Pienyü would embody the voice of the people, giving his utmost and steadfastly representing their interests.

The program was blessed with invocation by Rev. Neitho-o, Pastor Peoples Prayer church, Kohima and vote of thanks by Khrieketou Yano.

The program was chaired by Ruokuohetuo Mechülho and Visakuotuo Luho and Vetholü Rhakho presented special number.
