Tuensang Town Baptist Lashong (TTBL) is celebrating its 75th years of platinum jubilee at Tuensang under the theme “Slavery to Sonship”. The first service was held on Thursday evening with N Imlong, Secretary, C&M, Chang Baptist Lashong Thangyen (CBLT), led the opening ceremony with grand displays.

The speaker, Rev Imti, Executive Secretary, United Sangtam Baptist Churches Association (USBLA) shared on the topic “Freedom in Christ”. He said that jubilee means to rejoice from freedom from bondage. Power or right to act, speak or think without hindrance or restraint that completely wraps up everything Christ has done for us, he said.

Earlier the service was chaired by Mosha Lashem, Youth Pastor, TTBL and Sentisangla, Christian Education Board. Rev W Kaimang, Pastor, Sangsangnyu Baptist Lashong, pronounced the invocation while the welcome note was delivered by Convenor, Planning Committee. Short speeches were given by M K Yangbou, Chairman, Village Council, Chongpho Khel.

A prayer remembering the departed souls was led by Rev H Sanglap, Pastor, while a beautiful and melodious song was performed by Ao Baptist Arogo Tuensang Town and Khiamniungan Baptist Church Tuensang while benediction was said by Kejong, Pastor, Yangpi Baptist Lashong.

The speakers on the occasion were Rev Achu Chang, Executive Secretary, Rev Dr K Chingmak, former pastor TTBL and Rev Imti, Executive Secretary, United Sangtam Baptist Churches Association (USBLA).
