The United Sangtam Likhum Pumji (USLP) has urged Government of Nagaland to intervene and send officers to fill the vacant posts in the administrative sector in Kiphire district.

USLP said that the administrative headquarters functioning without officers include: Seyochung- ADC, Kiphire- two EACs, Longmatra- EAC, Amahator- EAC, Khongsa- EAC, and Sitimi- EAC.

In its representation to the State Chief Secretary submitted on 5 August 2023, USLP mentioned that the matter came to light during a recent inspection of the offices under Kiphire district. The union therefore requested the government to initiate necessary action to ensure smooth running of the administration and uplift the burden of the public in general.
