10 K Run organised by MTBA Youth Department

Mokokchung: 73 participants took part in the 10 K Run organised as part of the pre-celebration of ABAM SQC 2022

The Mokokchung Town Baptist Arogo (MTBA) Youth Department organized a 10 K Run on 10 September. Starting at 5:30am from Police Point, Mokokchung, the event was held as part of the pre-celebration of ABAM SQC 2022 under the team ‘To God be the Glory’.

This year marks 150 years of Christianity in Nagaland and preparations are underway for the sesquicentennial celebrations in November.

In his short challenge note during the opening program, Rev Bendang Longkumer, pastor of Artang Baptist Church, encouraged the runners to have a healthy body, mind and spirit, and to run for the glory of God.

The compere of the opening program was Kilenwala while the race briefing was delivered by Imlisunep. Toshi Sanglier, Youth Pastor of ABAM, gave the prayer and flag off for the race.

After the race, there was a presentation ceremony where the benediction was delivered by Nuksungti Lemtur.

Altogether 73 participants took part in the 10 K Run.
