The third day of the 2nd Kohima Inter-Club Cricket tournament witnessed matches between Kohima Hornbills and Dapfhütsümia Cricket Club, and Elite CC and Missionshire Cricket Club.

- Match – Kohima Hornbills vs Dapfhütsümia Cricket Club
DCC won the toss and elected to bat first. DCC set a target of 97 runs 20 overs. Theja Pienyu of DCC scored 40 runs in 40 balls, Sunep of Kohima Hornbills took 2 wickets 7 runs in 4 overs with 2 maiden. Chasing a target of 97 runs Kohima Hornbills comfortably chased down the target in 12.1 overs and won by 7 wickets, Hikato of Kohima Hornbills scored 12 runs in 12 balls and Kekhrieselhou Kire of DCC took 2 wickets in 2 over. Sunep of Kohima Hornbills was declared the Man of the Match.

- 2nd Match :- Elite CC vs Missionshire Cricket Club
MCC won the toss and elected bat first scored 114 losing all wickets in 18.2 overs, Kevilelie Khesoh of MCC scored 38 runs in 33 balls and Ketoukhriezo Whourie scored 24 runs in 21 balls. Kelhousielie of ECC took 3 wickets in 3.2 overs and Tapitu of ECC took 3 wickets in 3 overs.
Chasing a target of 115 the Elite Cricket Club comfortably chased down the target in 15.2 overs loosing 3 wickets. Imomenba of Elite Cricket Club scored 52 runs in 52 balls while Zidu also contributed 30 runs in 14 balls, Ketoukhriezo Whourie of MCC took 2 wickets in 3 overs.
Kelhousielie was awarded the Man of the match for his brilliant spell with 3 wickets in 3.2 overs,1 maiden, 19 runs.
The epic finals of Kohima Inter-club Cricket tournament will be played between Elite CC vs Kohima Hornbills at 1100 hrs Nagaland Cricket Stadium Sovima.
The Kohima District Cricket Association has requested all cricket lovers to come witness the battle of the two best teams from Kohima District.
Elite Cricket Club were the winners of the 1st Inter-Club T20 Tournament 2023, whereas Kohima Hornbills, a formidable team with seasoned players, will try to upset the defending Champion in the Final. Elite Cricket Club are the clear favorites after winning their match against Kohima Hornbills in the group stage.
