Community Radio station 90.8 Hills FM in collaboration with D’Cafe opened the first chapter of “Intentional Inclusion” on Saturday at D’Cafe in Kohima. The program aims to create a landmark by including both the genders to accelerate progress without any divisions to build a culture of respect and fairness.
Speaking on the occasion TafMA Advisor Theja Meru emphasised on the strength of believing and shared the journey of his students from Kohima Orphanage and Destitute Home who performed at the Concert for Friendship in Chennai. He said that the children’s particiapation at the international concert was not just an achievement of the children but the State.
“Inclusion works include result and inclusion says we believe in you, that you can do it” he said.
Pointing the present scenario of that state Meru said, “It is easy to focus on Dimapur and Kohima and forget the rest of Nagaland”, urging people not to limit the focus but expand it across the State so that the whole of Nagaland grow and prosper together.
He also informed about the launch of Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) Open House in the newly created districts of Niuland, Chümoukedima, Shamator and Tseminyu to provide platforms and promote musicians at the grass root level.
“Next month there will be concerts and talk shows all across 16 districts of Nagaland every month,” Meru further announced.

90.8 Hills FM is a community radio with the intention to bring a positive and visible transformation to the community by providing platforms to individuals of all age groups, to amplify the voice of the marginalised and build well-aware and well-informed listeners.
