Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland successfully conducted a Specialist Health Camp cum Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative under the SBI Sanjeevani – Clinic on Wheels program at Zisaji Presidency College, Kiphire on March 3 at 10:30 a.m.
The programme began with an Awareness Session (Session I). The session was chaired by Shangsela, Lab Technician, Nature SBI Foundation, Kiphire. The invocation was pronounced by Sister Atsala, President ZPC EU.
The Vice Principal of Zisaji Presidency College delivered the welcome address. He thanked Nature SBI Foundation for providing free and valuable health services to the people of Kiphire. He said that such health services are very important for remote areas like Kiphire. He also appreciated Longtili C Sangtam and his team for reaching out to serve their own people. He also thanked the foundation for the materials provided, we will make best use of it he added.
Dr. Zioba Anar conducted an important session on the “Importance of Oral Health Education.” He explained why oral health is very important for overall health. He stated that tobacco-related products are enemies of both teeth and the body. He highlighted that Nagaland ranks among the top states in tobacco consumption and warned that people often do not take it seriously until it affects them or their family.
He shared that a person spends around Rs. 300 to 400 per week on tobacco, which amounts to a large sum in a year. He said that by consuming tobacco, a person is only consuming sickness. He also shared the example of a 65-year-old man who came to his clinic and found out he had oral cancer. The man regretted his habits after learning about his condition. Dr. Anar encouraged the students to avoid tobacco and take care of their health before it is too late.

During the programme, Longtili C Sangtam, Project Lead of Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland, shared the achievements of February 2026. He informed that 24 villages were covered while total MOPD were 103 and total lab tests 399. 1732 people were benefitted from the camp, while 8 were referred to other places.
The distribution of materials was carried out by the Branch Manager of SBI Kiphire.
Session II included a Sanitation Drive conducted as part of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiative, promoting cleanliness and community responsibility.
Session III consisted of a Specialist Health Camp focusing on Anemia Screening in Young Adults. At least 24 students were screened during the camp.
The programme concluded successfully with active participation from students and faculty members. The initiative once again highlighted the commitment of Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland to bringing quality healthcare services to remote areas of the district.
