Riding test for two-wheeler taxi permits in Wokha on May 20

The Regional Transport Authority Office, Wokha, has announced that the riding test for applicants of two-wheeler taxi permits would be conducted on May 20, at the Office Compound of the District Transport Officer, Wokha, commencing from 10 a.m. onwards.

The riding test would be conducted under the supervision of the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (E) as Convenor, with the Enforcement Inspector and Motor Vehicle Inspector serving as Members. The EAC (Transport) has been assigned to oversee and supervise the smooth conduct of the entire process.

The Candidates instructed that Two-wheelers will be provided at the venue for the test. Candidates may also bring their own two-wheelers, provided the engine displacement is 125cc or more. Any damage caused to the department-provided two-wheelers during the test will be borne by the candidate concerned.

It further informed that No TA/DA will be admissible for appearing in the test. The department will not be held responsible for any injury, accident, or mishap during the test.

Besides, the candidates must bring:  – Two recent passport-size photographs – A valid Government-issued ID proof Applicants are advised to report to the venue on time and comply with all instructions issued by the authority.
