“Jan Bhagidari Abhiyan – Sabse Door, Sabse Pehle” IEC Campaign for Chiephobozou block under Kohima District was held on May 25 at Panchayat Hall, Nerhe Phezha Village, Kohima.
Addressing the gathering, Additional Deputy Commissioner Chiephobozou, Vekusheyi Rhakho, NCS has briefed that the main objective of the Campaign was to create awareness and outreach on various government welfare schemes and ensuring services to the people’s doorstep which was inspired by the vision of the Prime Minister for Viksit Bharat, focuses on empowering tribal communities, enriching tribal heritage and ensuring tribal rights at grassroots participation and coordinated departmental efforts. Activities under the campaign include Jan Sunwai, awareness generation programmes, village immersion, entitlement resolution and community outreach initiatives.
He urged all the eligible beneficiaries of Villages under the block of Chiephobozou Sub- division to avail the opportunity and benefit provided from various departments Scheme. He also called upon the participants to continually spread the awareness to their respective villages and expressed his gratitude for participating in Mega campaign.

Highlighted on departmental activities, CDPO Chiephobozou, Social Welfare Department, Alice Yepthomi emphasized on National Social Assistance Program (NSAP); National family Benefits Scheme (NFBS); National E- Scholarship; Unique Disability ID (UDID); Nasha Mukti Bharat Abhiyaan; Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana (PMMVY). She also informed the eligible beneficiaries to dial on the given contact numbers: 6009298857 (PMMVY Cell Kohima) and 9366422853 (DHEW Office Kohima)
RFO, Forest Department, Savinuo Kikhi highlighted about Nagaland Forest Management Project under JICA in 3 villages under Chiephobozou range and shared about the Wildlife Protection Act 1972 with emphasis on Elephant Human Conflict. She requested the Government to constitute or reconstitute the Biodiversity Management Committee (BMC) under Biological Diversity Act 2002.
