Deputy Commissioner Peren, Hiazu Meru notified that in pursuance of the decision taken in the meeting of the Peren District Task Force for immunization, informed that the medical department shall conduct immunization drives and awareness campaign on polio, measles – Rubella (MR), HPV and diarrhoea in Peren district with effect from June 28.

In this regard Deputy Commissioner Peren has requested the following officials to take necessary actions to ensure effective dissemination in the awareness generation. Hiazu also informed the area’s Administrative Officer to spread the information to all the Village Councils to create awareness among the public.

He requested that the Chairperson of the Town Council to create awareness regarding the campaign within their respective jurisdiction. Meru also asked the Chief Medical Officer to instruct all ASHA workers to disperse the information at the community level.

The DC further requested Project Director DRDA, DPO Social welfare, District Education Officer to ensure that the awareness is created on the campaigns.
