Department of Political Science, Fazl Ali College organised a Pep Talk for the First Semester Political Science Core students in hybrid mode, both online and offline, on the theme ‘Inspire, Motivate, Achieve’ on July 23 at the college conference hall.

Three Guest Speakers were invited for the programme, Shoukanth Azeem (IAS), AGMUT Cadre, Imnawapang, Language Faculty, LBSNAA and Ngeplong Wanghsa.

Shoukanth Azeem encouraged the students to be as resilient as the Naga ancestors and to work hard in this competitive world of AI. He advised the students to plan ahead, develop healthy hobbies and choose friends and mentors wisely.

Imnawapang, an alumni of the college, spoke on the need to be passionate and to be committed to achieving one’s goal beyond academics.

Ngeplong Wanghsa, the top scorer of the department from the college encouraged the students to be consistent, to form lasting friendships and to be participative.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks from Dr Lipokrenla Jamir, Associate Professor & Head of Department.
