The Asukhomi Village Gate was inaugurated on 7 December by K T Sukhalu, IAS (Retd.), Advisor School Education and SCERT, in the presence of the GBs of Asukhomi village, Zunheboto Ward and the 17 villages under 35 Area Constituency Zunheboto.

In the inaugural programme which was held at the village public ground, Sukhalu applauded the construction committee for the successful completion of the gate and wished for blessings to shower upon the young and old of the village through God’s benevolence.

Furthermore, the Advisor presented his views on potential development avenues for the village and encouraged the citizens to continue being one community for greater and better days ahead.

In conclusion, he acknowledged the literacy rate of Asukhomi Village and encouraged the educated youths to continue aspiring for various competitive examinations.

The Advisor was accompanied by the members of NDPP Central, NDPP Zunheboto Region and the NDPP 35 AC Zunheboto.
