Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) minister Jacob Zhimomi virtually inaugurated the NLCPR project of providing water supply by gravity to Mon village and four neighbouring villages in Mon District today.
The project has been funded by the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region.

He reaffirmed his commitment towards ensuring water supply for all villages and households across Nagaland despite the geographical and topographical challenges.
The PHED minister added that he is wholly dedicated towards opening new avenues for public delivery of services and gave assurances of his untiring efforts toward the realisation of the same till the last day, before the Model Code of Conduct comes into force.
Along with Zhimomi, Advisor and MLA Noke Wangnao and PHED officials were also present at the inaugural programme.
