The Eastern Nagaland People’s Organization (ENPO) has expressed deep shock over the “brutal and cold blooded murder” of Z. Hozheto Yeptho on 24th August 2023 at Purana Bazaar at ISBT Complex, Dimapur.

While strongly condemning the heinous and barbaric crime committed by the accused, Noknyei Konyak, ENPO stated that such crime and inhuman act committed had no place in a civilized society.

The apex body of the Eastern Nagaland tribes also acknowledged the prompt and quick action by the law enforcing agency in apprehending the accused and further appealed that “stringent and befitting punishment be awarded as per the relevant section of the law.”

Further, ENPO conveyed its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
