The Ayushman Bhava Weekly Health Mela was organised at Health and Wellness Centre (HWC), Naga United Village, Chümoukedima on Wednesday by the Department of Health and Family Welfare. The objective of the health camp is to provide comprehensive primary healthcare services to marginalized individuals, ensuring continuity of care.

Over 40 people participated in the Health Mela where they were provided OPD with free drugs and diagnostics, Tele-consultation, Screening of Non-communicable diseases (NCDs), Wellness activities, Tuberculosis screening, Immunization and ANC check-up in order to create proper antenatal check-up among the pregnancy mothers.

Atahulu Tetso, Community Health Officer, informed that Ayushman Bhava Health Mela is conducted to give awareness on the importance of health care. Information about available health schemes and services were also disseminated to the community by Tetso during the Mela.
