The Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan today received the ‘Flag In’ National Integration Tour-2023, in Kohima, informed a DIPR report. The Flag-in and welcoming programme was held at Raj Bhavan Kohima.
Comprising of 19 students from villages surrounding Chakabama, Nagaland, the National Integration tour team went on a trip to the Kumaon region and visited Naga Regimental Centre Ranikhet, Indian Military Academy Dehradun, Rashtriya Indian Military College Derhradun, Kartavya Path, Rashtrapati Bhavan, malls, and educational Institutes in New Delhi and other important places.
The flag –in program was attended by officers and staff of Raj Bhavan, PRO Assam Rifles and team as well as officers and jawans from the 16 Kumaon Regiment.

Later, the Governor interacted with the students and advised them to develop the inquisitive spirit and learn about the people and the places whenever they go and visit new places. He also highlighted on the specialty of our country “Unity of diversity” and urged them to promote unity wherever they go. The Governor also thanked the organizers for the initiative to provide the students with a pan Indian exposure & insight into the diverse cultural heritage of India.
Earlier, the tour was flagged off by Lieutenant General H S Sahi AVSM, YSM, SM, GOC, Spear Corps at Dimapur which was organized by the Indian Army under the banner of “ A journey to envision your Future, Experience the pride & take the leap of Success” from September 27 to October 10.The tour was led by Lt. Col. Gomit Dubey.
