The Old Aree Village Council has condemned the Aree Old Village Amur Falcon Roosting Site Landowners (AOVAFRSL) which is not legitimately formed and is being operated “by an individual solely for personal benefit”. The Council also mentioned that it called for a general meeting for thorough discussion on the matter on October 29, however due to unavoidable circumstances the scheduled date and time has been postponed which will be notified later.

The Old Aree Village Council has further urged to refrain from “using the false organisations in media outlets for personal gain”. It also requested not to “interrupt department officials unnecessarily”. the condemnation was issued by Liponthung Lotha, Chairman. Mhonchumo Kikon, Head GB and Yihamo Yanthan, Council Secretary of the Council.
