The Wokha District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) meeting for the month of November was held at DC’s Conference Hall on November 16, informed the DIPR.
Ajit Kumar Ranjan, IAS, Vice Chairman & DC Wokha conducted the meeting where registration of Agro Technology Resources Centre and Services Society, Wokha was discussed including installation of Fifty (50) Years Golden Jubilee Monolith of district formation and review of Aspirational Villages.
The board discussed on the registration of agro technology resources centre and services society which was recommended to the state government for approval. Chairman DPDB & Advisor Agriculture, Mhathung Yanthan in his opening remark called upon the society to work in tandem with the Agriculture & Allied Department to enhance and uplift the economic status of the district.

District Planning Officer (DPO) Wokha, Y. Orenbomo Lotha highlighted various activities and programmes chalked out for the District Formation Golden Jubilee Celebration on December 21, 2023. Mhathung Yanthan appealed to all the Lotha Community for active participation during the Golden Jubilee Celebration.
Forest & Environment Department, Youth Resources and Sports, DRDA, Sericulture, Economics & Statistics and ARCS highlighted their activities and work programme earmarked for the implementation at the Aspirational Villages. Y. Mhonbemo Humtsoe, MLA 38th AC Wokha also attended the meeting.
