CANSSEA Triennial session 2024 and induction of new office bearers held

Kohima: Outgoing president thanks fellow office bearers for contributions towards State’s employees

The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services of Employees Association (CANSSEA) Triennial Session 2024 cum Induction of New office members was held on June 7 at Japfii Hotel, Kohima .

 

In his exhortation, Dr. Zasekuolie Chüsi, IAS Commissioner & Secretary, Transport & Director, Census Operations, Nagaland highlighted the significant responsibility of the Association, which oversees 60 service associations. The importance of methodical decision-making and thorough analysis in the backdrop of immense responsibilities at hand, were stressed.

Stating the crucial role of the CANSSEA members as the elite individuals in society, Chüsi said that their wisdom and maturity are essential in handling any situation, as one wrong decision could lead to chaos in the state. He mentioned that the people of Nagas rely on them as the guiding force for the state government.

The Speaker emphasized the importance of sincerity, accountability, and dedication in guiding the government and shaping policies. “The Association should not just exist but play a pivotal role as a guiding force and fulfill government requests responsibly,” said Chüsi urging members to reflect on their individual contributions to society and stressed the need to act responsibly and sincerely as guiding forces in society. Additionally, he highlighted the organization’s status as one of the largest with over one lakh members.

Dr. llang, President, CANSSEA gave the presidential address. The program was earlier blessed with invocation by Zajamo Odyuo Associate Pastor, City Church Kohima. Visetonuo Angami pronounced the vote of thanks. Convenor, M. Ben Yanthan, Director Agriculture, Nagaland presented the Search/Nominating Committee Report.
