The 12th Luke Sasong Memorial Volleyball Trophy 2022 which began on 4 October is currently underway in Mokokchung.

Altogether, 12 teams are competing for the trophy: one from Wokha, one from Kohima and ten from Mokokchung.
Here are the match highlights of Day 1 and 2 of the volleyball tournament.
4 October: Day 1
- Pangti Volleyball Team vs Shipu Sporting Club Sungkomen. The match was won by Shipu Sporting club Sungkomen with the score points 26-24; 25-23.
- Changtongya Volleyball Association ‘A’ vs Evergreen Club, Ungma. The match was won by Changtongya Volleyball Association ‘A’ in straight set with the score points 25-20; 25-11.
- Kumlong Sporting Association ‘A’ vs Chotta Bheem Sporting Club, Marepkong. The match was won by Kumlong Sporting Association ‘A’ with the same score points in both sets: 25-10; 25-10.
- Arikotong vs Changtongya Volleyball Association ‘B’. The match was won by Arikotong with the scores points 25-22; 25-20.
- MH-10 vs Panti Volleyball Team. The match was won by MH-10 with the score points 25-19; 25-12.
- Kumlong Sporting Association vs Changtongya Volleyball Association ‘A’. The match was won by Changtongya Volleyball with the score points 25-15; 25-17.
5 October: Day 2
- Chotta Bheem Sporting Club, Marepkong vs Longkhum Students Union. The match was won by Longkhum Students Union with the score points 25-18; 25-20.
- Arikotong vs Hercules. The match was won by Arikotong with the score points 25-17; 25-22.
- Shipu Sporting Club, Sungkomen vs MH-10. The match was won by MH-10 with the same score points in both sets: 25-13;25-13.
- Evergreen Club, Ungma vs Kumlong Sporting Association ‘B’. The match was won by Evergreen Club, Ungma with the score points 24-26; 25-20; 25-17.
- Kumlong Sporting Association ‘A’ vs Longkhum Students Union. The match was won by Kumlong Sporting Association ‘A’ with the score points 25-14; 25-15.
- Changtongya Volleyball Association ‘B’ vs Hercules. The match was won by Hercules with the score points 25-22; 23-25; 17-25.
