The Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) has congratulated to the Officer-in-Charge, North Police Station, Kohima, and all ranks and files under his command for successfully cracking the recent strings of robbery in Kohima and apprehending the accused Kekietuo Solo. The police have linked the accused to 11 major heists in Kohima dating back to 2023.
A statement from KVYO described the accused as someone who has long been a menace to the citizens of Kohima.
The Organisation appreciated the patience, resilience, and professional expertise demonstrated by the police team in resolving this case. KVYO also acknowledged the Superintendent of Polic Kohima and his dedicated staff for their tireless efforts and commitment in bringing the culprit to justice.

“While appreciating the commendable work of the police personnel, the KVYO strongly condemns the criminal acts of the person involved in the robbery. The Organisation urges the District Administration and the Police Department to ensure that the perpetrator is booked under the fullest extent of the law and that exemplary punishment is awarded to deter such crimes in the future,” KVYO president Medozhazo Rutsa stated.
The organisation asserted its commitment to extending its cooperation and support towards maintaining peace and security within Kohima Village and the greater Kohima area.
