Camps at Holongba and Lirise Villages

On June 25, Dharti Aaba Abhiyan saturation camps were successfully conducted at Holongba and Lirise villages. The event was chaired by Dr. Zujanbeni N. Ngullie, EAC Tuensang Hq, alongside Shekhozo Vero, EAC (P), and featured active participation from multiple government departments and service agencies.

The campaign also covered seven villages: Holongba, Lirise, Sangsomong, Phir Ahi, Chungtor, Angangba, and Chimonger. Community members benefited from a comprehensive array of services, including health checkups, insurance enrolments, banking access, agricultural consultations, welfare schemes for women, and food security support.

The multi-departmental approach allowed for effective convergence of services, real-time issue resolution, and onboarding of new beneficiaries into welfare programs. Local leaders, residents, and department officials lauded the initiative as a model for grassroots governance and citizen-centric service delivery.

The Dharti Aaba Abhiyan targets tribal-majority villages with populations of 500 or more, where at least 50% of residents are tribals, as well as villages in Aspirational Districts meeting similar demographic criteria. The campaign aims to saturate eligible areas across all States and Union Territories, following schematic guidelines.

The District Administration of Tuensang extended its appreciation to the participating village councils, departments, volunteers, and citizens, reaffirming its commitment to bringing governance closer to the people and fostering inclusive tribal development.
