BJP State President & Minister, Temjen Imna Along inaugurated the Rutsa Community Building at P Khel, Kohima Village, as the Special Guest.

Addressing the inaugural programme Minister Temjen Imna Along retorted, “It’s not the size or design of a building, but it’s the preservation of the Naga tradition & culture, is the most valuable achievement of all”.

He described how encouraging it is to witness the manner in which the Angami tribesmen value and preserve their tradition and put the community in the forefront above everything else.

“What an honour and how respectful to witness the love and community instinct shown by the Rutsa clan in particular and the Angami tribesmen in general,” he added.

While lamenting how the present generations are losing the interest and to put efforts to preserve the rich culture and traditions of our inheritance, he encouraged all to face the challenges of different ways of life.

“You cannot fight ideology by being an idealist, we need to be practical to face challenges and issues of life,” he added.

He also expressed his happiness on how the Tenyidie Language is excelling in the educational field. He extolled, “Language breaks barriers. Tenyidie is binding the society very close”.

In his concluding remarks, he congratulated the P Khel clan for being able to preserve the rich culture and traditions of the tribe and the unity of the tribesmen/clan has greatly encouraged him.

“We may be coming from different tribes and areas, but the traditions and culture will bring us together. I shall be going back home with memories and stories to tell about the unity of the community,” he concluded.
