The Zunheboto Chamber of Commerce and Industries on 11 November organised a social work in commemoration of the Ahuna cum Mini Hornbill from 6:00am onwards.

Inahoto Swu, Secretary of ZCCI said all preparations for ZCCI Night Carnival as part of Ahuna cum Mini Hornbill festival celebrations were set ready.

As part of the preparations, a mass social work including sweeping and water flushing of streets and shop shutters was carried.

Members of ZCCI actively participated in the work closing down shutters and taking the broom to the street. All other arrangements for stalls and stages have also been complete.

Streetlights installed by ZCCI as part of ‘Brighter Zunheboto’.

He added that in a ZCCI initiative to realise the theme ‘Brighter Zunheboto’ more than 60 streetlights have been put up across the streets of the town.

The Chamber invites both young and old to come and enjoy in festival of the Sumi Nagas.
