The digitization of old manual certificates is essential to ensure that all records are seamlessly integrated into the new online system, thereby safeguarding their authenticity and accessibility for future use. Only genuine certificates issued by the registrar of births and deaths and information available in the record can be digitalized.

The Department requests the general public to come forward and access the facility provided through the ORGI portal (dc.crsorgi.gov.in) to help build a comprehensive and secured database of vital records for the state.
