The 36th edition of the Children’s Christmas Cake Carol Competition (C5) 2024 was held at Town Centre Point, Mokokchung, on the evening of December 20, Friday. Organized by the Youth Department of the Mokokchung Town Baptist Church (MTBA), the event carried the theme “Echoes of Joy” and featured performances by 10 youth fellowships under MTBA.
Aongza Fellowship emerged as the winner of this year’s competition, delivering an original rendition titled “Oh Arung Aseni,” performed by 75 children. The second place was secured by Alongmen & Dilong (A&D) Fellowship, whose 130 children performed the original song “Tepela Khristmas.” Penli Fellowship, with 60 children, claimed the third position with their original piece, “Aongmetang Khristmas Ola.”
This year’s competition witnessed the participation of 801 children aged 5-12 from 10 youth fellowships: A&B, A&D, Aongza, Arkong, Kichutip, Medical, Salangtem, Penli, Tongdentsüyong, and United Christian Fellowship (UCF).

In the previous edition held in 2023, A&D Fellowship, with 105 children, emerged as the winners, while Tongdentsüyong Fellowship, with 89 participants, secured second place. A&B Fellowship, with 101 children, finished third.
