In view of the 25th Edition of the Hornbill Festival 2024 from December 1 – 10, the Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCCI) has informed all concerned that the issuing of application forms for the Hornbill Night Carnival at Kohima Main Town will begin from October 8 onwards, while the last date of form submission is on October 26.

“This year’s edition of the Carnival will give preference to Tribal-Home-Based Local Entrepreneurs, especially those dealing with Traditional Ethnic Foods and Local Cuisines, while also promoting other Local Entrepreneurs, Self Help Groups (SHGs) and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs),” stated the KCCI.

It further cautioned that exorbitant rates on products will be strictly monitored.

The concept of the Hornbill Night Carnival is to offer a wholesome family time and to bring about the experience of safe-quality night life to the revellers in the capital city. There will also be Carnival Awards in the following category:

II) Best Innovative Stall

III) Best Decorative Building
