The District Congress Committee (DCC) Tuensang took center stage as the match patron during the 32nd Loyem Memorial Trophy 2024 league match held on October 23 at the Loyem Memorial Astro Turf Ground, Tuensang, informed a press release by the NPCC Social media team. The event was organized by the Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) and the Chang Sports Association.
Led by its president, Chotsase Sangtam, the DCC Tuensang actively participated in the event. In his speech, Sangtam not only encouraged the players to embrace the core value of good sportsmanship but also highlighted the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, both on and off the field.

He stressed that sports are a powerful tool for building character, unity, and resilience, urging the youth to use this platform to foster friendships, respect diversity, and strive for excellence.
Sangtam further emphasized the role of sports in bringing communities together, bridging divides, and inspiring positive change. “Through events like these, we strengthen our bonds as a society and lay the foundation for a brighter future,” he said, calling upon local authorities to continue supporting youth development through sports initiatives.
