The Directorate of Treasuries & Accounts has informed that it has set up a dedicated Pensioners’ Helpline, aimed at addressing the various challenges faced by pensioners across the State. This Helpline serves as a specialized assistance platform designed to support pensioners in resolving issues that may arise following the finalization of their pensions by the office of the Accountant General. Recognizing the diverse needs of pensioners, the helpline offers personalized assistance through regular telephonic calls with departmental personnel.

While the Department already provides an online grievance registration facility on its website, the introduction of the helpline is envisaged to ensure faster access to assistance, particularly for pensioners who may lack internet access or face difficulties in navigating online services.

Pensioners have been encouraged to reach out to the helpline during normal office hours by calling the numbers 87987 47825 and 87987 47826 to speak with officers. Alternatively, grievances can also be submitted via WhatsApp to 87987 47800.
