The 18th M Wangnao Memorial Trophy kicked off on August 18 with Benei M Lamthiu, MLA and Chairman of DPDB Noklak, and General Secretary of the Nagaland Football Association attending as the Special Guest.
A total of 13 teams participated in the tournament, with Eipa United FC, Tehok FC, Mavericks FC, and Langsa Hill SC advancing to the semifinals. In the semifinal matches, Eipa United FC defeated Tehok FC 7–5, while Mavericks FC beat Langsa Hill Sporting Club 1–0.
