Veteran politician and former Finance Minister of Nagaland T. A Ngullie passed away today. Hailing from Mungya Village, Late T.A. Ngullie elected multiple times to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly from the 37 Tyui A/C in Wokha District.
Advisor, Information & Public Relations, Soil & Water Conservation, Imkong L.Imchen has condoled the demise of T.A. Ngullie, one of the pioneering politicians of Nagaland.
Imchen described T.A.Ngullie as a proven Naga leader, a humble public servant, an esteemed parliamentarian, and a towering figure in his time. “He was elected seven times to the Nagaland Legislative Assembly and throughout his career, he held numerous significant portfolios as a Cabinet Minister and was a dedicated democratic warrior. He was respected by the Naga people across political boundaries and offered untold services, wholly committed to the welfare of the people,” stated Imchen.
The Advisor further added that T.A. Ngullie’s absence will be deeply felt further defining him as one of the tallest leaders of his era.

The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee has also expressed sadness over the passing of its leader, former Minister and veteran politician, T.A. Ngullie. “A distinguished leader who served as Finance Minister and held several terms as Congress MLA, his rich legacy of dedicated public service and leadership will be deeply missed. His contributions to the people of Nagaland will forever be remembered. We extend our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family in this time of grief. May the departed noble soul rest in Eternal Peace,” stated the Communications Department, NPCC.
