Kohima police hands over recovered mobile phones to rightful owners

Continuing its commitment to public service and community policing, Kohima Police successfully completed the handover of all 29 mobile phones recovered over the past one and a half months.

Following the earlier handover of 17 recovered mobile phones worth approximately Rs 3,00,000 at South Police Station, the remaining 12 mobile phones, valued at approximately Rs 2,14,000, were handed over to their rightful owners on June 1 at North Police Station.

Additionally, prior to these recoveries, Kohima Police had recovered and returned 4 more mobile phones valued at approximately Rs 72,500 to their rightful owners.

With these efforts, Kohima Police has successfully traced and returned a total of 33 lost and stolen mobile phones worth approximately Rs 5,86,500.
