As the impactful journey of Mission Healthy Bharat advances across Northeast India, Dimapur has become a pivotal center for spreading awareness on health, environmental sustainability, animal compassion, and poverty eradication.
The mission, led by Tapsi Upadhyay, popularly known as “India’s Daughter” and “The B.Tech Pani Puri Wali”, conducted a special awareness session at the NITI Dimapur Center, an esteemed 25-year-old institution renowned for computer education and JEE/NEET preparation. Under the stewardship of Managing Director Ajay Sethi, NITI has nurtured thousands of academic careers across Nagaland.
During the session, the team engaged students in thoughtful dialogue connecting science, technology, and ethical living. Central themes included environmental responsibility, plant-based diets, and the philosophical principle of “Ahimsa Parmo Dharma”—non-violence as the supreme virtue.
“True education builds both knowledge and conscience. When academic institutions like NITI Nagaland take a stand for compassion and sustainability, it sows the seeds of lasting transformation,” stated Tapsi Upadhyay.
Echoing this, Ajay Sethi pledged full support for the mission, highlighting the vital role of moral responsibility alongside academic excellence in shaping future leaders.
Beyond NITI, the mission’s team also conducted impactful sessions at Honili Memorial Higher Secondary School, Lhomithi Colony, and Shri Digambar Jain Higher Secondary School. The latter saw active participation from executives of the Shri Digambar Jain Samaj, who joined students in taking a collective pledge to uphold Ahimsa (non-violence).
These educational engagements strengthened the mission’s message while uniting community, faith, and education under a common vision for a healthier, more compassionate society.
Buoyed by strong support from students, educators, and local leaders in Dimapur, Mission Healthy Bharat is now set to continue its outreach in Kohima, Nagaland’s capital, as it builds partnerships to foster well-being and compassion across the region.
