Mizoram defeat Arunachal Pradesh by 6 wickets

Mizoram maintained their strong form with a comfortable 6-wicket win over Arunachal Pradesh, successfully chasing down a target of 133 in just 24.2 overs.

Arunachal Pradesh – Innings: 132 all out in 38.4 overs

After opting to bat, Arunachal Pradesh posted 132 runs, with Nabam Nathan (43 off 80) and Nabam Reekam (38 off 62) providing stability at the top.

Mizoram’s bowlers dominated proceedings, led by a brilliant spell from Lalrinfela, who claimed 5/23 in 7.4 overs, well supported by VL Chhuankima (3/24).

In reply, Mizoram chased down the target comfortably with a controlled batting effort.

Manipur thrash Meghalaya by 144 runs

Manipur delivered a dominant performance to defeat Meghalaya by a massive 144-run margin, showcasing strength in both batting and bowling departments.

Manipur – Innings: 222/6 in 26.0 overs

Batting first, Manipur posted an imposing total of 222/6, powered by explosive half-centuries.

Max Warokpam Meitei led the charge with a blistering 76 off 53 balls, while Naeesh added a valuable 53 off 45, building a strong foundation.

For Meghalaya, Benedict J Makdoh (2/41) was among the wicket-takers.

Meghalaya – Innings: 78 all out in 22.3 overs

In response, Meghalaya struggled against a relentless Manipur bowling attack and were bowled out for just 78 runs.

Angkit Tamang (26 off 47) was the top scorer, but lacked support from the rest of the lineup.

Manipur’s bowlers were exceptional, with Yumnam Chingkhei Nganba (4/11) and Saikhom Kaiku Meetei (4/7) dismantling the batting order with clinical precision.
