National Clean Air Programme launched in Kohima College and Sazolie College

Kohima: DC encourages students to collectively participate in reducing air pollution and opt for sustainable living habits

The District Administration, Kohima has launched National Clean Air Programme (NCAP) in Kohima College and Sazolie College, Kohima in collaboration with Zub-Zub India on the 21st and 23rd February 2024 respectively, DIPR informed.

The inaugural function in Kohima College was graced by Additional Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Rhosietho Nguori, while the inaugural function in Sazolie College was graced by Deputy Commissioner Kohima, Kumar Ramnikant, IAS who encouraged the students to collectively participate in reducing air pollution and opt for sustainable living habits.

The module of engagement is designed to educate through classroom lectures and create general awareness through a series of programs including general awareness classes, reels making competition, outreach activities, cycling competition and experience sharing classes.
