The Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) has condoled the passing of former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh, “a visionary leader, an economist par excellence, and a statesman of impeccable integrity”.

“Under his Prime Ministership from 2004 to 2014, he led the Nation into a formidable political and economic power, with policies that were nothing short of revolutionary in its daring foresightedness while ensuring that the socio-economically unempowered half of the population remained an equitable partner in this shared journey of prosperity and modernity,” stated the NPCC in a press release issued by its Communications Department.
