Following a coordination meet held today, the Chakhroma Youth Organisation (CY0) and Western Sumi Youth Front (WSYF) has reaffirmed the joint resolution passed by the Chakhroma Public Organisation and Westem Sumi Hoho to restrain its members from forming or affiliating with any other organisation.
In a joint press release, the two youth organisations held at coordination meet on at CPO hall Chümoukedima. The meeting unanimously reaffirmed the joint resolution passed by the Chakhroma Public Organisation and Westem Sumi Hoho on July 17, 2020 restraining its members from forming or affiliating with any other organisation without the expressed consent of the respective parent organisation.
“As youth organisations, we are committed to the growth, development, and well-being of our members and communities, it is paramount that we maintain unity, focus, and dedication to our shared vision,” stated the organisations iterating that the joint resolution serves to promote organisational integrity by ensuring that its members remain fully committed to the objectives of Chakhroma Youth Organisation and Western Sumi Youth Front.
With a commitment to safeguard the core values and goals of unity, the organisations viewed that forming or affiliating with other organisations without approval can create conflicts of interest and detract from our collective efforts.

“The prohibition of unauthorised affiliations ensures that our focus remains undivided and that the energy of our members is channeled toward achieving our shared common goals of peace and prosperity. This resolution further ensures that our members remain accountable to the structures and guidelines set forth by the apex bodies. All activities and affiliations should be transparent and in alignment with the vision of the parent organisations,” stated the organisations.
In light of these values and in the best interest of its organisations, the joint statement reiterated that no members of Chakhroma Youth Organisation and Western Sumi Youth Front shall be allowed to form or affiliate with any organisation without first seeking and obtaining the written consent of their respective parent apex body.
“We trust that all members will respect and uphold this resolution as a demonstration of their commitment to the growth and unity of our organisations. Together, we are stronger. Let us continue to work hand in hand, focusing on our vision to positively impact society and empower youth,” stated the press release issued by Seyieneilhou Keyho President, Chakhroma Youth Organisation and Atokiho Sumi, President, Western Sumi Youth Front.
