Sao Chang College Tuensang conducted its Annual Sports Meet from 26th to 28th February 2024. The events included during the Meet included Football, Volleyball, Badminton, Shot Put, High Jump, Long Jump, Relay Race and Races in 100m, 200m and 400m.

The inaugural program of the Sports Meet was held at Parade Ground, Tuensang with Moamongba Longchari, DPO, Department of Land Resources, Tuensang, as Guest of Honour.

In his address, Longchari acknowledged the students and faculties for their enthusiasm in sports activities and participating actively in the College’s Annual Sports Week. He encouraged the students to develop the spirit of sportsmanship and team work under fair play.

Further, Longchari emphasised the importance of sports and told the students adopt sports in their daily lives as it is beneficial for both physical and emotional growth of an individual.
