SDGCC returning with third edition of ‘SDG One Stop Destination’ during Hornbill Festival 2023

Kohima: Features of pavilion included games, quizzes, photo booth, video screening SDG pledge, etc

The Sustainable Development Goal Coordination Centre (SDGCC), under the Department of Planning & Transformation, Government of Nagaland, will be hosting the third edition of the ‘SDG One Stop Destination’ during the 24th Hornbill Festival at Kisama.

This year’s opening of the ‘SDG One Stop Destination’ pavilion, an immersive experience designed on how SDGs are linked with Naga culture and heritage, will be graced by Isabelle Tschan, Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on 1st December 2023 in the presence of other esteemed dignitaries, DIPR stated.

Additionally, on 2nd December 2023, the program will feature students from Cherry Blossoms Kohima, a school which supports children with disabilities highlighting the emphasis that there is no sustainable development without fostering empowerment and inclusivity for all.

The ‘SDG One Stop Destination’ invites all festival attendees to partake in an array of innovative and engaging activities that will make the SDGs more accessible and relatable to everyone and connect to our Naga heritage and culture.
