The State Urban Development Agency, Government of Nagaland will be organising the Annual event for recognising the accomplishments of PM SVANidhi Scheme, which will be graced by the Commission & Secretary, Urban Development & Municipal Affairs Department, Kekhrievor Kevichusa (IPoS) at Capital Convention Centre New Secretariat, Kohima on 28th August 2024 at 10:30 AM.

Prime Minister Atma Nirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme is a Centrally Sponsored Scheme funded by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs that provides Special Micro-Credit facility for providing affordable loan to the Street Vendors through financial institutions at minimal interest rate since June 2020. In this connection, the State is organizing a State Annual event for recognizing the accomplishments of PM SVANidhi scheme under the theme “Utkrishtata ki Ore Badhte Kadam- Celebrating Achievements, Inspiring Excellence” This event will celebrate exemplary achievements under PM SVAnidhi Scheme through recognition and felicitations of ULBs and Banks.

The ‘Performance Recognition for Access to financial Inclusion and Street Vendors Empowerment’ (PRAISE) awards to ULBS and Banks.

– Best Performing Lending Bank

– Best Performing Bank Branches

– Over all Best Performing ULBs in 3 categories as per class of Cities.

The event will be participated by the Elected Councilors and Administrators of ULBs, District Urban Development Officers, Banks, Street vendors and other officials.
