Team Nagaland is currently gearing up for the 3rd North East Games 2024 with a briefing and motivational session at Tetso College Auditorium, under the Nagaland Olympic Association (NOA).
A press release by the NOA informed that during the session Neivikuolie Khatsu and T. Meren Paul outlined team protocols and health guidelines, while Chekrovolu Swüro and Mr. Hokato Hotozhe Sema provided inspirational talks.
Abu Metha, NOA’s Secretary General, emphasized unity and perseverance, fostering determination. The event instilled camaraderie and determination, preparing Team Nagaland to excel at NEG24 with sportsmanship and excellence.
Team Nagaland also gathered for a devotional service ahead of the 3rd North East Games 2024, seeking spiritual unity and inspiration at Baptist Church Sovima in Chumoukedima.
Led by Sentiningsang Longkumer, General Secretary of the Nagaland Basketball Association, the service featured Pastor Visasier Kevichüsa delivering an uplifting message. Highlighting unity and strength, the program included hymns, prayers, and musical performances by talented artists. Drawing from their shared faith, Team Nagaland finds inspiration for excellence and resilience, guided by values of unity and perseverance as they prepare for the challenges ahead, informed the NOA.

The Nagaland Olympic Association also unveiled the official merchandise for the upcoming 3rd North East Games 2024.
The merchandise lineup comprises various categories tailored to suit the diverse needs of organizers, technical officials, volunteers, and the esteemed Nagaland team.
For the organizers, the collection features sleek red track suits, shirts, and caps, ensuring comfort and style as they manage the event’s proceedings with utmost precision.
Technical officials will don vibrant blue track suits, shirts, caps, socks, backpacks, and towels, ensuring they stand out while fulfilling their crucial roles in maintaining the integrity and fairness of the games.
Volunteers, the backbone of any successful event, will be adorned in practical yet stylish pink coloured tracksuits, shirts, socks, backpacks, towels, shoes and caps, facilitating their seamless coordination and support throughout the event, updated the NOA in a press release.
Lastly, embodying the essence of Nagaland’s pride and unity, the Nagaland team’s attire shines with red track suits, t-shirts, shorts, socks, backpacks, towels, shoes and caps. Inspired by the Nagaland Olympic Association’s motto, “Stronger together,” the uniform showcases artwork by Akup Buchem, featuring various shawls representing Naga tribes, symbolizing unity and oneness. Additionally, adorned with an artistic rendition of the hornbill feather, a universal symbol among Naga tribes, the uniform is a collaborative effort between the Nagaland Olympic Association and Kaki, a local creative agency. This attire, meticulously conceived, designed, and produced in-house, proudly reflects Nagaland’s rich cultural heritage and its vibrant way of life.
