For the past twenty-four years, The Entrepreneurs Associates (tEA) has been committed to creating livelihood opportunities for the people of Northeast India. Understanding that markets are critical for the long-term sustainability of any communities it works with, tEA developed its private marketing company, ‘Entrepreneurs Associates Natural Food & Handicraft Enterprise (EANFER),’ to link communities with markets. The EANFER team, led by its Director, Neikule Doulo, has been creating market linkages for farmers, weavers, entrepreneurs, and artisans for the past years, informed The Entrepreneurs Associates.
With the objective to create a platform for local handicrafts in the global market, EANFER has stated that Neikule is currently at the ongoing event of the Paris’ Texworld Apparel Sourcing, which is being held at Porte De Versailles, France from the 1st to 3rd of July, 2024.
Facilitated by the North Eastern Handicrafts and Handlooms Development Corporation (NEHHDC), Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region (DoNER), Government of India, and the Handloom Export Promotion Council (HEPC), EANFER hopes that this will lead to another level of opportunities for its local weavers and artisans.
