Two candidates filed their nominations for the upcoming Wokha Town Council by-election from Tsumang-B, Ward-8 before the Assistant Returning Officer and ADC Wokha, Renbomo Ezung, at the DC Office, Wokha on May 29.

The nominations were submitted by Mhomo Humtsoe representing the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Ar. Aling Lotha, representing the Naga People’s Front (NPF).

The by-election process officially commenced with the filing of these nominations, marking the start of electoral proceedings for Ward-8 under Wokha Town Council.
